General issues
Please read on for historical and upcoming issues. Additionally, this page lists changes in our services and general warnings of phishing and other possible fraud attempts.
Also note that Telecom are upgrading and working on various exchanges around the country on a daily basis. This can mean that there is local loss of connectivity. Usually these are scheduled for the early hours of the morning. You may need to reboot your router before you are able to reconnect if your local exchange has been worked on.
Phishing Attack
A few of our customers have received an email claiming to be from Orcon asking you to verify your email contact details. The title of the email is "VERIFY YOUR ORCON EMAIL ACCOUNT NOW !!!". Please delete this email. This email is not from Orcon and we do not approach our customers in this way. If you suspect that an email may be fraudulent, please call our Contact Centre before taking any further action.
