LFC

Local Fibre Company. There are four LFCs in charge of building the UFB network: Northpower, Chorus, Enable, and Ultrafast.

LLU

Local Loop Unbundling – The local loop is the term for the copper connection between your house and your local telephone exchange. When Orcon talks about unbundling, we’re referring to installing our own equipment in telephone exchanges, and connecting your copper directly to our own equipment.
