FAQ: What happens if you are keeping your current number

You’ll receive your SIM/phone via courier prior to your mobile activation date (emailed to you). We’ll email you when your SIM is with the courier so you can keep an eye out for it.On your activation date (which we email you) your old SIM will stop working at which time you can start using your new Orcon SIM (there should be no downtime on your mobile service). We’ll send you a text message before your old SIM stops working to remind you to swap SIMs.NB: If you are not sure of your activation date just check the email address registered with us when you joined up . If you didn't give us an email address it will be ‘yourusername’@orcon.net.nz
