FAQ: How do I transfer my account to another name?

The current Account Holder just needs to contact us on 0800 13 14 15 and give permission for the New Account Holder to take over the Account and advise what date this change should take effect.

 

The New Account Holder will then need to contact us to confirm the change and accept responsibility of the Account under the Orcon Terms and Conditions.


The current Account Holder will still be liable for the charges on the Account until the actual date that the services are transferred to the New Account Holder.

Please note: the new account holder will also need to agree to a credit check.

The transfer can take 2- 7 working days to be completed.
