FAQ: How do I set up the iPhone app?

Login to the Orcon Account application with the same username and password you use for the 'My Orcon' section of the Orcon website. Orcon customers are grouped into Business Units. Most users are in the Orcon Residential group so the Orcon Account application is shipped with 'Orcon Residential' as the default setting. If you are with Orcon Business or Orcon Commercial you will need to use the Orcon tab of the Settings app to select the appropriate Business Unit.

The application lists the services you have subscribed to with Orcon. For Broadband and Dialup connections the application displays your current metered usage. A progress bar illustrates your usage in the current billing period measured against the bandwidth cap for your usage plan.The line shows where the current date sits in the current billing period. By comparing the usage bar with the date bar you can get a general indication of whether your usage pattern is likely to come within, or exceed, the usage cap for your plan.

Broadband usage is measured at approximately half hourly intervals. If you check your usage more often than this you may not see any change in the display. Your actual usage is still being recorded.
