FAQ: Email causing disconnections

If you are sending or receiving a large email (eg. over 2000KB) using a Dialup connection you may find that your connection drops out after a period of time.
This is because the Dialup connection times out when a large email is being sent or received.

Possible Solutions:
* If you are receiving a large email and the connection times out, you can log into your Webmail and view/delete the large email from there.
* For sending large emails you may want to try to split the email’s attachments (remove some and send then in a separate email one after another).
* If Broadband is available in your area, you may want to consider upgrading from Dialup. Broadband can offer considerable faster speeds while at the same time allow you to use the phone while surfing the Internet.
