FAQ: What is my data cap during my first month of joining Orcon or switching plans?

If you have just signed up to Orcon, or have moved to Orcon Genius from an existing Orcon plan, firstly - awesome! Secondly, please be aware that your new data cap will be pro-rated.

 

What does that mean?

We bill on the 23rd of each month, so if you signed up 10 days before this, your data cap will be 10 days worth of your monthly total - i.e. if you are a on a 30GB Genius plan, you'll have 10GB to play with.

To work out how much data you will have in that first month, just divide your data by the number of days in that month, and multiply it by the number of days your service was live before the 23rd. (It's easier than it sounds).

Data used over this will be charged at $2 a GB.

And, of course we only start charging you from the day your service goes live so your bill will be pro-rated too.
