  • FAQ: How do I set up and use my Orcon voicemail?

    To set up Orcon voicemail, dial 789 and follow the instructions. Note: 789 won’t work for all customers (it depends what network you are on) . If 789 fails to let you access your voicemail, then dial 083210 and follow the instructions. You can also download a pdf copy of the guides below.

  • FAQ: How do I set up call forwarding?

    Call Forwarding is available by default to customers using our Genius service, most @Home and @Work+ plans. When enabled, inbound calls to your phone number will be forwarded to the phone number that you specify.

  • FAQ: What’s my voicemail PIN?

    You will have selected a voicemail PIN during the sign-up process. But, if you have forgotten it, no worries, log into My Orcon, select ‘Voice Service Settings’ and it’s listed here.

  • FAQ: How do I know when Orcon Genius is ready to use?

    You’ll get an email from us ahead of time telling you the day your service will be activated. On the day, you’ll get another email when it’s done. You’ll also notice that you lose dial tone on your home phone, meaning it’s time to set up your Orcon Genius and move your phone over to IP.

  • FAQ: Can I attach a storage device to Orcon Genius?

    Yes – the USB port can be used to connect any storage device to the modem. This will enable you to share files, downloads, or any other stored content. Any laptop, PC, smartphone or device connected to Orcon Genius will then be able to see that storage device as a drive. There are further instructions on this in the install guide that comes with your Orcon Genius.

  • FAQ: Do I need an ADSL splitter with Orcon Genius?

    No. Because your phone plugs into the Orcon Genius modem (not the wall) you don’t need a splitter.

    There are multiple options for getting a phone handset to work with Orcon Genius. You can use your own, get a fancy new Genius handset, or a combination of both
