Exciting news for DJs this week as Pioneer have just announced their brand new CDJ-2000, which they are touting as a revolution in digital DJing. And for those who want the thrill of spinning their favourite tunes without the hours of practice, Daft Punk will be featuring in the new DJ Hero game.

Pioneer have just announced the latest model in their industry standard CDJ series, the CDJ-2000. It comes complete with a pretty awesome looking 6.1 inch digital display, and a whole host of great new features. It looks like it is going to be a pretty serious piece of kit, and something that helps raise the bar on innovative DJ performances once again.

For the not so serious DJ, DJ Hero is a new game from the makers of Guitar Hero, and it has just been announced that Daft Punk are to be added to the line up. Check the trailer below for a taste of what's to come:
