TalkEasy and save with Orcon

Monday April 30, 2007 ~ Posted by: Duncan Blair

You might have noticed that the blog has been a little quiet lately. There are two reasons for this:

  1. We were travelling around the country attending Armageddon Christchurch and Armageddon Wellington.
  2. We have been working really hard to come up with our latest product, TalkEasy calling plans.

Read on to find out more about these great new calling plans that will save you money

TalkEasy is a new way to pay for your toll calls. For almost all New Zealand households signing up for an Orcon TalkEasy calling plan will save them money. There are 3 great plans, and you can choose to put them together however you want. Take just one or two that suit, or all three; whatever is right for you.

The plans are:

TalkEasy National

Make an unlimited number of calls to landlines around New Zealand for just $20 per month. Each call may be up to one hour long, if you need to talk for longer than an hour, just hang up and call right back.

TalkEasy World

Make an unlimited number of calls to landlines in 30 countries around the world for just $20 per month. Destinations include Australia, the USA, the UK, China, Japan, and Germany. Again, each call may be up to one hour long, if you need to talk for longer than an hour, just hang up and call right back.

Check out a full list of destinations.

TalkEasy Mobile

Get up to 100 minutes of home to Mobile calls for just $20 per month. You can use your 100 minutes to call any number of mobiles, on any NZ network. If you go over 100 minutes in a month you will be charged at the standard retail rate.

All three plans are the same great price: just $20 per month each.

We are pretty excited about these plans and the value that they provide. Quite frankly we think that they kick ass when compared with the plans that some of our competitors provide.

These plans are only available to Orcon Homeline customers. So if you were still looking for a good reason to switch, we think that this is pretty good incentive.
