Grow your own network traffic world
Wednesday January 17, 2007 ~ Posted by: Duncan Blair
From time to time we stumble across cool things on the Internet. Generally these come from individuals or small groups of people that are doing really interesting or amusing things using computers and the Internet. One of these things we have discovered in the last couple of days is the Packet Garden
Packet Garden is an artwork that has been commissioned by Arnolfini. It is a program that captures information about the Internet traffic that is being sent and received by your computer, and translates this information into a 'world' that you can explore.
It doesn't really serve any useful purpose; we just think it is a pretty cool idea.
You can download a beta version of Packet Garden for free from their website.
