We have just announced our brand new broadband plans, and we think they are pretty fantastic. We still offer New Zealand's most affordable broadband, with plans starting from just $19.95 per month for Orcon Tolls customers. We have also launched full speed plans, which allow you to download (and on the max/max plan, upload) as fast as your line will allow. The best thing is you can build the plan that best suits you, by picking from three line speeds and eight data plans.

To celebrate the launch of our great new plans we are also running our biggest promotion ever.

Over the last couple of weeks we have been listening pretty hard to what you have had to say. A lot of people have been commenting on our competitors plans that have been launched, and we have taken all this feedback into consideration in developing our offerings.

The plans work on a 'menu' system. You pick a line speed, and you pick a data plan that best suits you.

The data plans include the ZeroShock data plan that allows you to surf as much as you like without any worry of bill-shock. For people using the internet for everyday things this plan provides a great protection from unexpected bills and so provides real peace of mind. This plan is not designed for people who want to download a lot of peer to peer material, and a reasonable use policy applies. This protects the quality of service on this data plan for all customers on it.

All plans work on the same AutoSense overage system. If you go over your data cap you are automatically charged $10 and you can use another 5GB of data. We wouldn't dream of slowing you down.

Interleaving will be turned off on all the new plans by default.

Information for existing customers

Customers on the existing Orcon broadband plans will not be automatically changed to a new plan. If you would like to change to one of the new plans you can place your order online and you will be changed over as soon as that order is processed.

If you want to stay on your existing plan, that is no problem. You don't need to do anything, just keep enjoying your Orcon Broadband connection.

There is a change for customers on 3.5Mbps plans. Those on 3.5Mbps/128Kbps will have their speed automatically upgraded to Max/128Kbps, and those on 3.5Mbps/512Kbps will have their speed automatically upgraded to Max/Max.
