How to: Change your spam filter settings

Monday September 18, 2006 ~ Posted by: Duncan Blair

As an Orcon customer you get access to free email spam and virus filtering. This is carried out on our servers, so the spam and viruses never reach your computer. You are able to set the level of spam filtration on your email account.

All Orcon users should take a moment to set up their own level of spam blocking. Here's how:

  1. Log in to 'My Orcon' using your Orcon username and password.
  2. Click on the 'My Services' link on the left hand menu.
  3. Click on the 'Email' link on the expanded left hand menu.
  4. Click on the 'Spam Blocking' link on the expanded left hand menu.

On this page you can change the level of spam protection on your account, and change the way that email that is identified as spam is dealt with.

Please make sure that you read and understand the instructions before making any changes to your spam settings.

Once you have set up your spam filtering settings take a moment to check out this great time-lapse film footage from a hot air balloon festival. Enjoy!
