Wow! It has been a busy month here at Orcon. We had the excitement of getting our equipment in the Ponsonby exchange, and our 5000 free Homelines promotion, and more recently have unbundled the first couple of lines in the country. We have also welcomed a whole lot of customers from one of our competitors who had a problem controlling a bubble.

As a result of all this excitement our contact centre was running red hot (or should that be purple hot?). We had more than double our usual call volumes coming in in the last week of August and the first week of September. As a result we know that some of our customers were not feeling the usual Orcon love that you are used to. So a a sincere apology on behalf of all of us here at Orcon HQ.

The good news is that we have it all under control now, and levels of Orcon customer love are now back to normal.

In between all this other stuff going on we also dropped the price of Orcon Homeline rental, and launched a new broadband promotion. If you are already an Orcon Homeline customer you will automatically get the new lower price, so no need to do anything.

Finally, in unrelated news, check out the official Rugby World Cup site. It is our favorite site at the moment, because a quick check in the morning means you can still hold your own in a conversation around the water cooler, without having to wake up in the middle of the night.
