Digital Life: Orcon articles

In true rock and roll style, we have changed things up at the last minute with a little surprise. We have added a bonus 9th member of the band for the recording session tomorrow with Iggy Pop.

We were amazed with both the quality and quantity (over 200!) of auditions that came in for the chance to play live with Iggy Pop via Orcon Broadband. Narrowing it down to just 8 was an extremely tough job, but together with the man himself we managed to do it. Without further ado, here are our super talented 8 band members...

There is less than 48 hours to get your audition in for the chance to play live with Iggy Pop. We are really excited about the the number and quality of auditions that we have received so far.

Hopefully by now you have seen our search for 8 talented Kiwi musicians to help us re-record Iggy Pop's classic 'The Passenger' together with the man himself (via the magic of super-fast Orcon Broadband). The entries have been flooding in, and we thought it was a good time to share with you some of the weird and wonderful auditions we have received so far.

Over the weekend we hit 500 fans on Facebook. We promised to give away stuff when we did (we aren't above a bit of bribery), and so this afternoon we will be.
