The ISP customer base of Zip Internet was purchased on the 23rd of December 2003, after Zip experienced technical difficulties with their network which would have made the continued servicing of their customer base impossible.

AGlobal was Orcon's first purchase of an Australian ISP. AGlobal was operated by Deepak Sharma who also previously owned NZ Online.

NZ Online Global Internet (NOL) was owned and operated by Deepak Sharma. NOL purchased wholesale services from Orcon for a year or so before Deepak decided to sell up and move to Australia. At this time Orcon purchased the equipment and customer base of NOL as well as the customer base of Deepak's Australian ISP operations - Australian Online Global Internet (AGlobal)

SecureNet was an ISP specialising in high-end managed security services for corporate clients. It was owned and operated by Shaye Bates, who moved to Washington DC because of a lucrative contract pertaining to his other business - computer forensic investigation. As a result of this Orcon purchased SecureNet and continues to offer a range of managed Internet security products.

Bestnet was owned and operated by Eric McCall. Eric had operated BestNet for a number of years purchasing wholesale services from Orcon. The business got to the stage where it was not growing and so Eric decided to sell the business to Orcon.
