Broadband modems

In order to connect to any of our broadband plans you will need a broadband modem – that’s what makes the magic happen.

We all like choice, so we give you the choice of three options on any of the Orcon Broadband plans:

Orcon Genius

Our snazzy new modem and phone in one that puts your phone calls over the internet. Learn more about it here.

Orcon Genius - lite

Just like Orcon Genius, but minus the built-in phone. (Just plug in any phone you already have and - bingo - you are away). 

Use your own modem

To get the best out of our own next generation Orcon+ network you'll need a modem that is ADSL2+ compliant (check the packaging, or Google it if you aren't sure).

Single Port Modem

The single port router comes included with all our Orcon@Home and Orcon@Home+ plans if you need it (except with the Bronze+ plan). There's just a $10 postage charge. It connects one computer, is nice and simple to set up and supports ADSL2+. 

Orcon Homehub/ Wireless modem

If you really want to get the most from your Orcon Broadband connection, go for the awesome Orcon Homehub. This sleek wireless router lets you access your broadband from anywhere in your house without plugs or cables.
If you sign up to the Orcon@Home Platinum+ plan, the Orcon Homehub rental is included as part of the package. On all other plans you can rent the Homehub for just $5 per month.
Because this is a rental agreement, if you ever decide to leave Orcon this modem will need to be returned to us.

How to Order

If you're already an Orconite and want to get your hands on a modem, simply call the Orcon Helpdesk on 0800 131415 and one of our team will arrange delivery to your door. Alternatively, if you're a new Orcon customer, simply add the Homehub or modem to your order when signing up, whether online or over the phone.
