What does the Orcon Helpdesk support?

The Orcon Helpdesk will do their best to help you get connected to the internet, and help you with any internet connection related problems.

From time to time Orcon customers call us expecting us to help fix everything from a broken CD drive to the funny noise coming from their washing machine. So this table is intended to clarify exactly what it is that we do and do not support.

Product Brief description/Problems supported
Internet connection (broadband or dial-up)
  • Establishing and maintaining the connection from the exchange to your house/premises.
  • Connection speed issues.
  • Identifying anti-virus and firewall issues and, if you decide to, assisting you to disable the programme to enable the connection.
Modems Brands supported: We fully support Dynalink and Siemens modems. We will attempt to help set up and troubleshoot all modems.
Note: We support wireless modems connections via the ethernet cable only. We do not support your wireless LAN (local area network) set up.
Webmail We support Orcon customers' use of our webmail product.
E-mail Software
