So how long will the downtime be on the day that I'm getting set up on LLU?

That depends on a couple of different factors:
If you're currently an Orcon Homeline customer, or you'd like a brand spanking new number, then downtime should be limited to around an hour. But if you want to keep your old number from another Homeline provider, then the delay could be up to three or four hours. Please note, however, that because we rely on a third party to change your account at their end, we can't guarantee exactly how long your downtime will be.
In this downtime, you should still be able to make calls, but you may not be able to receive calls or connect to the internet. People who call you may hear a 'number unobtainable' tone during the changeover process.
