Promotions Terms and Conditions


FREE WEEKEND CALLING SPECIAL

    For Residential Orcon Genius and Orcon @Home LLU customers who received promotional email only.
    1. The Orcon “Free Weekend Calling Special” (the “Offer”) applies only to calls made by you to the destinations notified by Orcon as part of the Offer (“ Relevant Destinations”) during the following time period - From 12am (NZT) on the 17th March 2012 to 12am (NZT) 19th March 2012. Any calls made to the Relevant Destination outside these times will be charged at Orcon’s current calling rates as published on our website.
    2. If you have already selected an international destination as part of your Orcon Calling Plan you will not receive any credit if the Relevant Destination is the same as your selected international destination.
    3. The Offer applies to calls from your Orcon landline to direct dial landlines in the Relevant Destination only and does not include "special services calls". Special Services Calls are to a service provider in the Relevant Destination which are toll free in that country but which are charged at a specific rate per minute when called from New Zealand. It is your responsibility to check whether a call is a special services call as you will be liable to pay the special services rate. Please check the full number you intend to dial in our "Calling Rates Lookup" here if you are unsure if the number is a regular or special services number.
    4. All calls are for up to one hour’s duration after which time you will be charged at the Orcon current per minute calling rate.
    5. Orcon’s General Terms and Conditions and Homeline Terms and Conditions continue to apply during the term of the Offer.

    Please note:

     

    Calls to the included destinations made during the offer period will initially show as being charged in the Usage Details section of My Orcon (orcon.co.nz). These charges will be adjusted to reflect the terms of the Offer prior to your April bill being issued

     

    Certain regions, territories, states, etc of the listed destinations may not be included (for example calls to Hong Kong are not included if you select China)

Partners Promotion

  1. By signing up for the Orcon Partners promotion plan (the “Promotion”) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. In order to receive the Orcon plan under this Promotion you must sign up to Orcon prior to the expiry date stated on the internal communications you received as an employee of our partner companies. Orcon reserves the right to amend this date at Orcon’s sole discretion.
  3. There is a 12 month minimum term on your Orcon broadband services received in accordance with this Promotion. If your Orcon broadband services are terminated prior to the end of the 12 month period you will have to pay a $149 early disconnection fee.
  4. In order to be eligible for the Promotion you must be a current employee of one of Orcon’s Business Partner companies. You will know you are in a Business Partner company if, as an employee, you are sent internal promotional communications in regards to the Promotion.
  5. All relevant Orcon terms and conditions apply to the Orcon services you receive in accordance with the Promotion and can be read at http://www.orcon.net.nz/about/terms_and_conditions.
  6. The Promotion is available to residential customers only.
  7. To sign up for the Promotion you must order an Orcon residential broadband service via the URL notified on internal communications you received as an employee of one of our partner companies. Alternatively, if you sign up on the phone, you must mention you are signing up to a ‘Partners Plan’ and mention your employer PRIOR TO the completion of the sign up process via 0800 JOIN US.
  8. Once you have signed up to a plan under this Promotion you will not be able to change your plan to another plan offered under this Promotion.
  9. Should you move house, when notifying Orcon of such move you will need to also notify Orcon that you are on a “Partners” Promotion plan so that we can ensure that your Promotion plan moves with you.
  10. Should you terminate all or any part of your Orcon services, the plan you chose under this Promotion will no longer be available to you.
  11. The Orcon plan offered under this Promotion is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or other Orcon services.
  12. Orcon reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Promotion or terminate the Promotion at any time without notice.

  14. Orcon reserves the right to refuse any application for Orcon services under the Promotion if Orcon deems the applicant to be manipulating the terms, signup process, or referral system in any way.

‘Best Deal Ever’ Terms And Conditions

  1. By signing up for the Orcon Best Deal Ever promotion plan (the “Promotion”) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. In order to receive the Orcon plan under this Promotion you must sign up to Orcon prior to midnight on 31 May 2011. Orcon reserves the right to amend this date at Orcon’s sole discretion.
  3. There is a 12 month minimum term on your Orcon broadband services received in accordance with this Promotion. If your Orcon broadband services are terminated prior to the end of the 12 month period you will have to pay a $149 early disconnection fee.

    Free International Calling Weekends – Terms and Conditions
    For Residential Orcon tolls customers only.
    1.     The Orcon “Free International Calling Weekend” offer (the “Offer”) applies only to calls made by you to the destination notified by Orcon as part of the Offer (“ Relevant Destination”) during the following time period - From 6pm (NZT) on the Friday following the date of the announcement by Orcon of the Relevant Destination to 8am (NZT) on the Monday following the date of the announcement by Orcon of the Relevant Destination. Any calls made to the Relevant Destination outside these times will be charged at Orcon’s current calling rates as published on our website.
